Counseling

We are here to help you and your child start the process to an improved relationship and a happier, calmer and healthier life.

Parenting can be overwhelming.  Sometimes it can help to know that your child or teen has a place to talk about their feelings and learn to better manage their anger, depression, and/or anxiety.

Through counseling, children and teens often are able to express how they feel and build confidence in their abilities. Also, the therapist is able to foster an improved relationship between the child/teen and the parent by making suggestions for tweaking the home environment and by providing a space that the child/teen and parent can talk openly without resorting to arguing.

The growth mindset involves the belief in change. Whether this task may come easily or not, changing your mindset can lead to growth and opportunity.

Individual counseling provides that opportunity in a safe environment to process emotions, thoughts, behaviors and grow your mindset.

Individuals participate in the counseling process in one on one sessions with a trained therapist. We believe rapport between client and therapist is essential to the counseling process and an individuals success. Our goal is for the therapist to be viewed as a fellow traveler on the individual’s journey.

Individuals will engage in sessions through video conferencing and/or receive services at our counseling office. The individual and therapist will work together on a variety of topics depending on your needs and personal goals. Reaching one’s highest potential is the therapeutic end goal.
